Scheme Overview

The project consists of a new segregated cycleway along the A4 Bath Road from the junction of Huntercombe Lane North to Uxbridge Road.

The proposal will be achieved by utilising existing carriageway, grass verge and footway space. This approach will enable the creation of a new cycleway without affecting the existing traffic flows along the busy A4 which is a main arterial road for Slough.

In addition to the introduction of a dedicated cycleway, the project will offer improvements to the existing pedestrian facilities in the area by introducing enhancements to all existing junctions along with the provision for countdown timers. The project also offers improvements to other sustainable modes of transport.
